Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and resolve connectivity issues within SLA
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware upgrades and maintenance contracts
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and user requests
Qualifications
- CCNA certification or equivalent network administration experience
- 3+ years supporting enterprise-level Cisco infrastructure
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, and OSPF protocols
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
