As a Network Technician, you will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our network systems, playing a vital role in our IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and security to ensure high availability and data integrity.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for VoIP systems and VPNs.
- Perform routine network audits, documentation updates, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with the IT department to implement network upgrades and security patches.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and service tickets in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or Certificate in Network Engineering, IT, or related field.
- Valid CCNA, Network+, or CCNP certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in network administration and support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista networking equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
