Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity issues and system failures efficiently.
- Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure optimal uptime and security protocols.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes in our asset management system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new network solutions and upgrades.
- Perform regular system backups and conduct security audits to protect against cyber threats.
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist in the deployment of new hardware/software.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent industry certification preferred.
- Proven experience with LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, and routing protocols.
- Strong knowledge of network security best practices and firewall management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends for critical system maintenance.
