Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform regular network audits and security checks to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts.
- Manage and update network documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration logs.
- Assist in the deployment and provisioning of new hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network upgrades and patches.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid CCNA or equivalent industry certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or comparable networking equipment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
