Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine network maintenance, including cable management, patching, and physical infrastructure upgrades.
- Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify and resolve potential security vulnerabilities or bottlenecks.
- Respond to help desk tickets and user requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to design and implement new network infrastructure projects.
- Conduct regular audits of network equipment to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless networking protocols.
- Experience with network cabling standards (Cat6, fiber) and termination tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including server rooms and field sites.
