We are currently expanding our network infrastructure across Houston and are looking for an individual who excels in both technical execution and customer service. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical network systems, ensuring seamless connectivity for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems and hardware failures, with minimal downtime.
- Cabling Infrastructure: Perform physical network cabling tasks, including termination of fiber and copper cables (Cat6, Cat5e).
- Site Surveys: Conduct on-site surveys to assess network requirements and recommend optimal solutions.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of network equipment and inventory levels.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and create network diagrams as required.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience preferred.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in network installation and maintenance.
- Skills: Proficiency with network troubleshooting tools and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
