As a Network Technician, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with senior engineers to ensure network reliability, security, and scalability for our growing client base.
Responsibilities
- Network Maintenance: Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Hardware Installation: Install, configure, and patch network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and patch panels.
- Cabling: Perform structured cabling tasks, including fiber and copper termination, and cable management.
- Security: Assist in implementing security protocols and VPN configurations to protect data integrity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, inventory logs, and change management records.
- Support: Provide Level 2/3 technical support and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
Qualifications
- Certification: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent vendor certification.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or IT support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper devices, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
