Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and implement proactive maintenance protocols
- Document network topology, configurations, and incident reports
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce access controls and VLAN segmentation
- Support VoIP systems and wireless network optimization
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and service level agreements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with cloud networking solutions (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Valid Kansas driver's license for occasional site visits
