Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement network security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to resolve complex user and system issues
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network upgrades and projects
- Conduct regular network audits to optimize performance and security posture
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with network infrastructure (Cisco, Juniper)
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
