Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment procurement and support
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support to end-users and IT staff
- Conduct network audits and recommend infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba networking equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation
