Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Aruba network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and proactively resolve outages
- Implement VLAN segmentation, VPN tunnels, and wireless security protocols
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for complex network issues and collaborate with vendors
- Assist in network expansion projects including fiber optic cabling and rack deployments
- Conduct network vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper hardware
- Valid CCNA or equivalent industry certification (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and network security principles
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN technologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to diagnose complex network issues
- Excellent written/verbal communication and client-facing abilities
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call support
