Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA requirements
- Implement network security protocols including VLAN segmentation and VPNs
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud integration projects
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for network-related user issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/JUNOS and enterprise wireless systems
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network analyzers (Wireshark)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional on-call duties
