Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) for enterprise clients.
- Perform physical network cabling (Cat6, fiber optics) and rack-and-stack server hardware with precision.
- Monitor network performance, traffic, and security alerts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, router configurations, and switch settings.
- Conduct regular network audits and upgrades to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document network diagrams, configurations, and maintenance logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Proficiency in configuring Cisco routers and switches.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs for cable management and equipment installation.
