Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
- Perform regular network audits and security checks to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
- Troubleshoot network hardware and software issues, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in the deployment and management of network cabling and infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network connectivity and usage.
- Monitor network performance and implement necessary upgrades to ensure optimal speed and reliability.
Qualifications
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other networking hardware.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites within the region.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
