Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across 50+ endpoints
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects
- Document network configurations and create maintenance reports
- Provide tier-2 user support for network-related incidents
- Optimize network traffic using Cisco and Juniper technologies
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS/Junos and VMware virtualization
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to work during non-standard hours as needed
