Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark; troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Execute network security protocols including VLAN segmentation and VPN implementations
- Document network topology and configurations using Visio and ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure integration projects
- Provide Tier-3 support during scheduled maintenance windows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and subnetting
- Experience with Azure/AWS cloud networking services
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network analyzers
- Excellent written communication for technical documentation
- Valid NJ driver's license for occasional client site visits
