Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure
- Document network configurations and maintenance procedures
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for end-users
- Monitor network performance and optimize bandwidth usage
- Collaborate with IT team on network upgrades and expansions
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional client site visits
