Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation for team reference
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network challenges
- Proactively identify and resolve potential network vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and infrastructure support
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking platforms (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
