Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues using provided diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network configurations and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network efficiency and uptime
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to end-users
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and vendor certifications
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent experience required
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (for occasional site visits)
