Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using provided diagnostic tools and proactively address issues
- Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure and data integrity
- Provide technical support for LAN/WAN connectivity and cloud-based solutions
- Document network configurations and create maintenance reports using provided systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades and expansions
- Train junior staff on proper equipment usage and troubleshooting procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols
- Experience with network security best practices and threat mitigation
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues independently
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for site visits
