Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using provided diagnostic equipment
- Implement network security protocols and monitor system performance
- Document network configurations and create technical maintenance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy network infrastructure projects
- Train end-users on network usage and best practices
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and vendor certifications
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Technology or 3+ years equivalent experience
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista equipment
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in confined spaces when needed
- Valid California driver's license for equipment transport
- FCC Technician License preferred
