Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using provided diagnostic tools and troubleshoot issues
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network configurations and create detailed technical reports
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients
- Collaborate with team to implement network upgrades and expansions
- Train clients on network usage and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Network+ certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Experience with Cisco routers and switches
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Proficient in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid Nebraska driver's license for client site visits
- Ability to lift 30 lbs for equipment installation
