Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation for troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security protocols and compliance measures
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Conduct regular network audits and optimize bandwidth usage for maximum efficiency
- Train junior technicians on network best practices and equipment usage
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network hardware and SD-WAN solutions
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG) and packet analysis (Wireshark)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and virtualization platforms
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call rotations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer communication abilities
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional site visits
