Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using provided diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with team members on network optimization projects
- Provide technical support to end-users and escalate complex issues
- Monitor network performance using provided monitoring software
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent experience
- CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent (CCNA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call duty
