What You Will Do:
As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our network systems. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our operations and the satisfaction of our end-users.
Responsibilities
- Network Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal network performance.
- Incident Resolution: Monitor network traffic and promptly resolve connectivity issues, outages, and hardware failures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network architecture, configurations, and change logs.
- Security Implementation: Assist in deploying and enforcing security protocols, including VPNs and firewall rules.
- Hardware Management: Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and inventory management for network equipment.
- Cabling: Terminate and manage structured cabling infrastructure (fiber and copper).
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, LAN, WAN, and VLAN configuration.
- Experience: Proven experience with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for critical maintenance windows.
