Job Overview
As a Network Technician, you will be the backbone of our digital operations. You will ensure seamless communication and data flow across our organization and client networks.
Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade networking hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and implement proactive measures to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Perform regular security audits and patch management to protect against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design scalable network architectures for new projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, schematics, and asset inventories.
- Provide technical support and training to internal users regarding network connectivity issues.
- Respond swiftly to and resolve network outages during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ (relevant experience accepted).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista equipment.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI models, subnetting, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, or PRTG.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Ability to lift equipment and work in various physical environments.
