Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues in real-time
- Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure and data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support to resolve end-user network issues
- Conduct regular network audits and performance optimization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Proficiency with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless systems
- Strong diagnostic skills with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize urgent tasks
- Valid California driver's license for occasional on-site visits
