Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and resolve connectivity issues within SLA
- Implement network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Document network changes, topologies, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migrations and hybrid infrastructure
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and performance bottlenecks
- Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments of network assets
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network administration
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Expertise in Windows Server Active Directory and DNS management
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Wireshark and network analyzers
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Ability to lift 40lbs for equipment installation and maintenance
- Valid driver's license for occasional off-site visits
