Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform routine network audits, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity issues for end-users and clients.
- Assist in structured cabling projects, including fiber and copper installations.
- Document network configurations, changes, and technical procedures for future reference.
- Monitor network traffic and security to prevent unauthorized access and downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement software patches and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Proven experience in network troubleshooting and hardware repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs for installation.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
