Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Resolve connectivity issues and security vulnerabilities with SLA-driven efficiency
- Document network topology, changes, and incident reports in compliance with ITIL standards
- Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate hybrid network solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Implement VLAN segmentation and network access control policies
- Conduct regular network audits and capacity planning
- Provide Tier 3 support escalation for complex network incidents
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or 3+ years equivalent experience
- CCNA/CompTIA Network+ certification required, CCNP preferred
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network equipment
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with SD-WAN implementation and network automation (Python/Ansible)
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex network outages
- Knowledge of network security best practices (NIST, CIS benchmarks)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote environment
