Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively address issues
- Implement and maintain network security protocols to prevent breaches
- Document network configurations and create detailed technical documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex network outages
- Support VoIP systems and wireless network infrastructure
- Perform network upgrades and capacity planning
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and support
- Proficiency with Cisco routers, switches, and ASA firewalls
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for wired/wireless networks
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
