Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and optimize network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Diagnose and resolve complex network outages with minimal downtime
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect network integrity
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate system diagrams
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network upgrades and migrations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or IT (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VPNs, and wireless technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network monitoring tools
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud networks
