Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to network infrastructure
- Provide tier-2/3 technical support for network-related user inquiries
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or IT-related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco and Juniper network equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call support
