Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and optimize Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Troubleshoot network outages and connectivity issues with SLA-driven resolution
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premise and Azure/AWS environments
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ and CCNA certifications (or equivalent)
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN implementation
- Proficiency with packet analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Strong knowledge of network security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Experience with SD-WAN and zero-trust architecture
