Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement robust security protocols
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy cloud-based solutions
- Perform network capacity planning and optimization
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, PCI-DSS)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, and Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and BGP/OSPF routing
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
