Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Implement security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network integrations
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network outages and performance issues
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA or equivalent industry certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, and QoS protocols
- Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN design and implementation
- Strong diagnostic skills using Wireshark and ping/traceroute
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Ability to lift 40lbs and work in server environments
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional site visits
