Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and network security protocols
- Document network topology and create SOPs for infrastructure changes
- Collaborate with cloud engineers on hybrid cloud integration
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages
- Conduct regular audits and optimize network bandwidth
- Train junior technicians on network best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network administration
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Fortinet solutions
- Proficiency in Python or Ansible for network automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
