Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy network solutions and system upgrades
- Document network configurations, create SOPs, and maintain accurate asset inventories
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related user issues and system outages
- Conduct regular network audits and optimize performance for 99.9% uptime
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless networking protocols
- Experience with Cisco/Juniper hardware and VMware virtualization environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, AWS/Azure networking) highly preferred
- Valid Hawaii driver's license and ability to travel between island locations
