Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and manage VPN infrastructure
- Implement network security protocols including ACLs and intrusion prevention systems
- Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize network solutions
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex network outages and escalations
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or equivalent industry certification required
- Expertise in TCP/IP, VLANs, and BGP routing protocols
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
