What You'll Do:
As a Network Technician, you will be the backbone of our IT operations, handling the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance to ensure optimal uptime and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Perform regular network audits and maintenance to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Assist in the deployment of new network infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Document network configurations, changes, and technical procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related incidents and improve system reliability.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar networking certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Familiarity with network security protocols and VPN configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
