Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Document network infrastructure changes and create maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy cloud-based solutions
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Optimize network traffic and ensure 99.9% uptime
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network devices
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent industry credentials
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
