In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our clients' network infrastructure. You will work closely with our systems engineering team to ensure high availability, security, and performance of all network hardware and software. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Monitor network performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Assist in the deployment and cabling of structured cabling systems (Cat6, fiber optics).
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network connectivity and hardware issues.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve complex network incidents.
- Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is a plus.
- Valid Network+ or CCNA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Proven experience with Cisco and/or Juniper networking equipment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex network issues.
- Ability to lift and carry networking equipment and work in various physical environments.
