Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLAs
- Document network topology and update configuration records
- Collaborate with cloud services for hybrid infrastructure management
- Implement network security protocols (VPN, ACLs, IDS/IPS)
- Support VoIP and wireless network optimization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in network administration (Cisco/Juniper certification preferred)
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Layer 2/3 issues
- Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Valid CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification
