Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues and implement security protocols
- Document network configurations and update documentation
- Collaborate with IT team on infrastructure upgrades
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for network-related incidents
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with VPN and firewall management
