Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM tools and proactively resolve issues
- Implement security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topology changes and create detailed maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premises and AWS/Azure environments
- Provide Tier-3 support during critical outages and disaster recovery scenarios
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent industry certification required
- Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and VLAN configuration
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Meraki systems
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex connectivity issues
- Ability to lift 50 lbs for equipment installations
