Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and proactively resolve outages
- Implement network security protocols (VPNs, ACLs, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network architecture and Azure/AWS integration
- Provide Tier 2-3 support for VoIP, WiFi, and VPN systems
- Lead network upgrade projects and hardware refresh initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/JNCIA certification required; CCNP/JNCIP preferred
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Meraki systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and packet analysis
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet)
- Excellent communication skills and customer service aptitude
