Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Implement security protocols and perform vulnerability assessments
- Document network changes and maintain accurate infrastructure diagrams
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and outages
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to hybrid network solutions
- Conduct regular network audits and capacity planning
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or 3+ years equivalent experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expertise in TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN technologies
- Proficiency with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
