Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Provide technical support to end-users across diverse departments
- Conduct regular network audits and capacity planning
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network monitoring tools
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Valid Texas driver's license (for client site visits)
