Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and DevOps practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct system performance analysis and implement optimization strategies
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (Kubernetes, serverless, AI/ML)
- Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing and documentation standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Go with cloud-native architecture patterns
- Proven leadership experience in technical decision-making
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven design
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence tools
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system implementations
