Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum circuit architectures capable of handling millions of qubits with high fidelity.
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced error correction protocols (e.g., Surface Code, LDPC) to minimize decoherence.
- Collaborate with theoretical physicists to translate novel quantum algorithms into executable software stacks.
- Oversee the integration of quantum processors with classical control systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking and optimization of quantum hardware/software co-designs.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantum computing, systems engineering, or high-performance computing.
- Proven expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, specifically superposition, entanglement, and decoherence.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level systems programming.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Quantum) is highly desirable.
